It is amazing to read about the early part of the earth. When you going to grade school or even high school it usually just starts with so called "caveman". You never really hear about how the earth started except maybe in a science class. You hear about the the animals and plants growing first and then came homo sapiens. I really like the cosmic calendar. It really puts in perspective how the formation of the earth more than we give credit for when teaching world history. The first human like creatures didn't show up until late Dec 31st. That is entire year that we don't spend a lot of time learning about. It is like the reading the end of a book before the beginning because it the best part. You don't care how it came to be. You just want to know the end result.
The first society of people have been found in Africa. You can see the migration of people. This can be seen the art done of caves, pottery and tools found buried in the dirt or possible bone fossils. You start to see people wanting to venture out to maybe a better place to live. You start to these humans getting starting. You can see this by them traveling to Australia. They had to build boats to cross the ocean. You see them less stress because they live by simply hunting and gathering what they see. There is no traffic to drive in. No competition to see you can gather more. They didn't need or want more.
The Agriculture Revolution had differently in different places. It was based on the people, what was available and the climate of the region. At the end of the Ice Age, the weather was getting warmer it made it easier to grow things. It also gave people better opportunities to see can be grown in a particular area like the fertile crescent of Middle East.
As people start to move you see them staying in one place. You start to see cities being established. Levels of society classes, like upper class or slaves, are starting to emerge. In the beginning women and men were at the same level but soon you start to see men are becoming more dominate in society. You start to see Kings, like in Egypt, are the figure heads of the city.
It is amazing to see how quickly we grew in intelligence. How curious human beings can be when you see the movement around the world. How agriculture was important development in world history. I don't think people would want to move if the agriculture revolution didn't happen or at least move as quickly. Some people don't like doing the same thing everyday. Hunting for food gave you better lookout of the land. It made people curious to see if maybe the food can be grown somewhere else.
